Max Bupa introduces express service for Chennai

New Delhi, xx Dec, 2015: Deeply concerned about the tragic situation in Chennai, Max Bupa has introduced support initiatives to help its customers in Tamil Nadu region.  The company commits to process and approve on priority all claims received from Chennai. It also endevours to auto approve cashless claims upto Rs.10,000 with effect from 11^th December 2015. For requests of cashless claims more than Rs.10,000, approval will be given within 30 minutes.

Commenting on this, Ashish Mehrotra, Md & CEO, Max Bupa said, “Max Bupa stands by the people of Chennai. We are committed to providing utmost support to our customers in this time of need. As an aftermath of the flood situation, we anticipate an increase in water borne diseases and a subsequent rise in claims from the Tamil Nadu region. Hence, with effect from today, we are introducing an ‘Express Pre-Auth Service’, to enable instant auto approval of all cashless claims up to 10,000 for our customers in the flood impacted region for the next 30 days.  This will help our customers in the region receive immediate hospitalization through our provider network, if the need arises. We are also processing all claims from Chennai on priority and ensuring pre-authorization of all cashless claims within 30 minutes. We hope this small endeavour from our side will contribute towards bringing normalcy back into the lives of people in Chennai.”
