Mumbai/New Delhi, February XX, 2015: Max Bupa Health Insurance has won top laurels and has been recognized for ‘Best CSR Initiative’ for its flagship initiative ‘Walk for Health’ at the 8th Edition of Loyalty Summit, 2015. This is the second consecutive win for Max Bupa which was awarded the ‘Best Client Agency Idea’ for its customer education initiative- Satya Mythya ki Paathshala’ last year.

 

This is the first time a health insurance player has been bestowed with this top honour. The award aims to recognize the CSR initiative, which illustrates the results of the effectively delivered CSR objectives. Max Bupa Walk for Health was chosen as the winner as it is the first time in the country that a brand has been associated with the cause of walking and mobilised thousands of people to get healthier by walking more. The Max Bupa Walk for Health is a unique initiative that has been encouraging thousands of Indians to walk for a healthier lifestyle. The third edition of Walk for Health 2014 witnessed an overwhelming participation of more than 15,000 families in Delhi and Mumbai who pledged to incorporate more walking into their daily routine.

 

These consistent efforts have also resulted in Max Bupa emerging as India’s most trusted brand for the second time in a row in the health insurance category in the Brand Trust Report 2015, an independent customer research conducted among 2500 consumer-influencers across 16 cities and 20,000 unique brands. Max Bupa has also emerged as a leading brand in the private insurance space in the study.
